Allentown native documents 'Great Pennsylvania Amusement Parks'

Allentown native documents his road trip to 10 amusement parks in Pennsylvania.
There's a certain look that comes to a person's eyes when you talk about going to an amusement park, says Allentown native David Witoslawski.

"You can see the joy," he says, "and that's what I tried to capture in my book."

Part park travelogue and part history of coasters and carousels, Witoslawski's book "Great Pennsylvania Amusement Parks Road Trip" explores the past and present of 10 of the state's amusement parks. They range from Waldameer in the northwest corner to the Lehigh Valley's Dorney Park.
